Sometimes the pathetic fallacy is too good to pass up. There always has been something apocalyptic about Skinny Puppy’s music and as the Canadian industrial pioneers came to town on their supposed final tour, an unprecedented thunderstorm swept in along with them.
The night began with the pleasant promise of violence via the Los Angeles-based Youth Code whose stripped-down punk-inflected aggro industrial has just enough grit and acid in it to draw blood.
