Now the duo of T3, a founding member, and Young RJ, SV performed a recent string of shows across Australia, with their most intimate being down in The Basement in Sydney this past weekend.
The mastermind producer's diminished role was painfully felt on Trinity the disappointing follow-up to the Detroit trio's impressive debut Fantastic Vol.
Hip-hop heads were treated to a showcase of skilled artists paying tribute to the genre when Slum Village checked into the Imperial with their stylings of old school lyrical prowess.
Friday night and a big occasion for London's hip-hop nerds, of who there are plenty. Founded by J Dilla in the mid-1990s, Slum Village are responsible for some of the genre's iconic moments.
