There are more than a few offshoots from the almighty King Crimson. Stick Men, featuring Crimson bassist Tony Levin and drummer Pat Mastelotto with touch guitarist Markus Reuter, is one of the more prolific.
The trio wear their progressive rock badges proudly and did not disappoint the loyal fans at the Van Dyck, a nice room even though on this rainy night, the roof had a few small leaks on the stage area, which they dealt with in a humorous light.
“I think it’s time for some Stravinsky,” Tony Levin said as Tuesday night’s prog tour de force program by Stick Men headed into the home stretch at the 20th Century Theatre in Cincinnati.
