Celebrating the biggest global dance tracks to ever hit a club, but doing it in a manner that brings waves of new fans to the fold, is something the organisers behind Synthony have been able to pull off brilliantly.
An estimated thirty-five thousand people packed into the Auckland Domain yesterday for what was Synthony No.5, and though it didn’t seem possible, the event was even bigger and better than last year.
SYNTHONY showed up at the Auckland Domain a day late, after promoters heeded weather warnings for Saturday’s original date, to avoid the dance festival turning into a Glastonbury rain-and-mud-fest.
Like a butterfly emerging from the chrysalis, Synthony displayed its newly formed wings in all their glorious radiance yesterday, transforming Auckland Domain into a bona fide paradise of sights and sounds.
