There are kids around me who must be half my age or less but I'm here to see the last ever Test Icicles gig not look at the audience.
Before they ever had a chance to jump the shark Test Icicles have said sayonara to showbiz, and they couldn't have done it in a more magnificent manner.
Despite the gig being a sell-out the crowd never seemed particularly enthusiastic about the band whose debut album 'For Screening Purposes Only' was released last October.
You see West London trio Test Icicles provide an experience you must absorb for yourself before you can comprehend it. They mix up styles with a rude relentlessness and have the gung-ho attitude to match.
Their abrasive metal-disco was supposed to be a dumb loud rock project doused in neon colours for the entertainment of a few ironic art school kids in the know.
