After some DJs lots of skateboarding and an adequate warm-up set from local MC Jeremy Chambers the Beatnuts sauntered on stage plastic cups in hand and bottle of Hennessy in tow.
The sheer volume of hip-hop acts in which the multi-staged building has been able to pull is astounding, and acts admittedly look forward to playing there.
They rocked it for about an hour and a half and they definitely put on a great show. For a group with no album out, to get that type of crowd was cool to see. I really want to see Tha Alkaholiks now.
