The Black Lillies recently performed to an intimate, relatively subdued crowd at Ramona California's historic Mainstage Theater. But that didn't keep the band from performing as if they were in front of a sold-out stadium.
The Black Lillies may be on their Stranger To Me tour, but they're no strangers to the Mercury Lounge in Tulsa, where they could be found last Friday night. Having released their new album, Stranger To Me, in late September, their first new album in 3 years, the band has been touring nonstop the last six weeks.
The Black Lillies are ready for their closeup. The Knoxville, Tenn.- based hard-driving Americana outfit played to an appreciative house and never let up.
