Phil seemed a little unsteady at first, but by the third song, he had gathered himself, and he sounded just as good as he ever has. Phil is getting on in years, and he's had some health problems, but there's absolutely no question that man has a set of pipes.
Although the group emerged into a Los Angeles punk scene that featured the likes of X and the Circle Jerks they were always pursuing something more timeless and fashion-proof.
Somewhere in a timeless haven, gents in jeans and jackets pump out stirring rock ’n’ roll, the sort of which forms the sturdy backbone of American music.
