The Buttertones are a five-piece surf rock act hailing from Los Angeles, California since 2011. Its members include Richard Araiza, Sean Redman, Modesto Cobian, London Guzman, and Dakota Boettcher, the first three originally starting out as "music school misfits".

Even though diehards didn’t know the lyrics from most of the new tracks, that didn’t stop them from trying to sing along.
Wild Wing opened the night on a wild note before Tracy Bryant gave a mellower set of material from his album “A Place for Nothing and Everything in Its Place.”
With a blend of seductive saxophone and surf guitar and hauntingly haughty vocals, the band easily got the sold out crowd screaming, dancing, and crowd surfing all night long.
