The Clientele are a London-based band with Alasdair MacLean on vocals and guitar, Mark Keen on drums, James Hornsey on bass and Mel Draisey on Keys and Violin. MacLean and Hornsey began collaborating musically while still in school, after MacLean saw that Hornsey had written the name of the band Felt on his pencil case.

The London-based band’s music is lush and autumnal, as if lead singer Alasdair MacLean permanently resides on the idyllic village green the Kinks once sang about.
A retrospective featuring highlights from throughout their career it was accompanied by whispers that Hampshire’s finest were working together again on new material.
Indeed the performance felt very much like a support act on the night and maybe they need to look for some divine intervention to gain future inspiration.
Ottawas post-rock instrumental outfit My Dad Vs Yours kept their eyes affixed to their instruments a trend that would carry through to the next two bands.
