The Datsuns

The four members of The Datsuns in Wellington, Auckland, Stockholm, and London, and this was their first Auckland show since December 2014.

They certainly delivered on the rock front with the Amazonian Michelle Madden stalking the stage with charisma and gloriously over-the-top attitude.

Responses have ranged from 2004 called they want their music back to really sorry I’ve got to do a mix tape of songs by The Thrills for someone I met on Friendster and the especially stinging mate I was nine when that song came out.

And on Sunday’s Sabbath a sermon in rock and roll was given to a starved congregation by The Datsuns and The Treatment.

The crowd awaiting the arrival of New Zealand garage rockers The Datsuns is a mixture of old and young simultaneously laid back and anxious.
