The Jayhawks returned to their tradition with a holiday show in the Twin Cities, interrupted in 2020 by a pandemic cancellation, on December 18 at the Palace Theatre in St Paul, Minnesota.
The uninitiated may have thought The Jayhawks were going the covers route in concert by playing Everybody Knows or Jakob Dylan's Gonna Be a Darkness from the HBO show True Blood.
Playing a sold-out Wealthy Theatre on Friday night, the Minneapolis band showcased its impeccable songcraft and infectious, harmony-laden approach. (Concert review, photo gallery)
