The Last Shadow Puppets are an English supergroup that consists of Alex Turner of Sheffield band Arctic Monkeys and Miles Kane of The Rascals. They released their debut album, The Age Of The Understatement, on the 21st April 2008.
The group kicked things off in interesting fashion with a cover of Suicide’s Ghost Rider, likely in dedication to the passing of Suicide’s Alan Vega just a few weeks prior.
On April 11 they return to New York for a performance at Webster Hall, a very intimate venue for the group, whose stock has risen considerably just based on the fact that Arctic Monkeys grew so much with the release of AM, and the name of Turner has to be one of the most searched terms on tumblr.
