The Psychedelic Furs are an English rock band that was founded in London in the late 70s. They came together in England's burgeoning punk scene of 1977 and initially consisted of Richard Butler (vocals), Tim Butler (bass guitar), Duncan Kilburn (saxophone), Paul Wilson (drums), and Roger Morris (guitars).

An excellent double bill packed the Stifel Theatre Tuesday night with the Psychedelic Furs and Squeeze. This show was not just for '80s nostalgia, although there certainly was plenty of that as both bands offer quite the catalog fit for reminiscing.
Former Spacehog, former Arckid, former Leeds and ex-son-in-law of Steven Tyler, Royston Langdon took the Empire Live stage solo armed with his acoustic guitar, cowboy hat, and white sunglasses on Monday night breaking the ice with his new song about having sex with a “Nazi Girlfriend”: “So I can make a full report”
Returning to Ottawa for the first time since their 1987 tour with This Mission, the London, England band was sandwiched in-between performances by James and the Killers during an astoundingly well-attended night four of the city's ten-day RBC Bluesfest.
