It’s a gig made for Cards Against Humanities enthusiasts and black comedy lovers, no controversial stone will go unturned at their gig.

Tonight is somewhat different, as the Empire hosts a completely sold out show of The Rubberbandits,with support from local hip hop acts.

Though as they point out at the start of their show, ‘musical comedy’ is the last thing they see themselves as.

Half of tonight’s crowd is made up of the Irish and the Irish-ish of the Big Apple supping Guinness and putting their dubious Limerick slang into overdrive.
