Strawbs never quite reached that level of popularity, and tonight’s crowd doesn’t match what you’ll see for some of their more celebrated peers.
Recently named by Rolling Stone as one of the 50 greatest prog rock albums of all time the album made it into the top 100 in the US at the time and has become a classic of the genre.
Though they peaked in popularity, like most of their peers, in the 1970s, and have gone through on and off periods since (going on hiatus for several years in the 80s and the 90s), they have found a new era of success in recent years.
