The Strypes were a 4-piece rock band from Cavan, Ireland, formed in 2010 by Ross Farrelly (lead vocals/harmonica), Josh McClorey (lead guitar/vocals), Pete O'Hanlon (bass guitar/harmonica) and Evan Walsh (drums).
This knack for stripped back pulsating rhythm and blues was seen on their 2013 debut finding them vaulting head first into the production process with Chris Thomas a regular collaborator with such luminaries as Roxy Music Pink Floyd and The Beatles.
