If there was ever an evening of slick moves, beautiful lyrics and a palpable wave of sheer nostalgia, then Tuesday night at the Royal Concert Hall was definitely it when the Philadelphia soul group, The Stylistics came to town.
The Stylistics came to the Royal Concert Hall on Thursday night and delivered an evening of pure 70's sophisticated soul. With two original members, Airrion Love and Herb Murrell, still strutting their stuff after 53 years together, they treated this near capacity crowd to a slick and professional performance
The band has, in one form or another, been on the circuit for forty-five years now with founding members Herbie Murrell and Airrion Love proving most resilient to the twists and turns of subsequent line-up shake-ups.
