Theo Parrish is known for being many things: a deep-house connoisseur, linchpin of Detroit's third wave of electronic music producers and a genre-hopping DJ partial to playing eight-hour sets among them.
This might be because it's less gritty than some of the other clubs but for me its punchy soundsystem and inclusive vibe match up with the city's best.
Whereas those shows were at Output and Cielo a pair of established nightclubs this time he had been booked by DJ duo Analog Soul and DIY promoters Space Is The Place for an eight-hour set at their Brooklyn loft.
