Troy Kingi invited us to waste a Thursday evening with him and his band as they celebrate the release of Troy latest, Time Wasters: Soundtrack To Current Day Meanderings. We did some meandering of our own as a DJ spun tunes before Troy and his crew took to the stage shortly after 9:30.
Ten out of Ten is how I would rate last night's album release party of ‘Year of The Ratbags and Their Musty Theme Songs', the 6th in Troy Kingi's 10 albums, 10 genres, 10 years series. A stunning set of 80's inspired synth-pop filled Auckland's Powerstation, and the crowd was loving it.
