Critic Consensus
Based on 87 concert reviews, the critic consensus is that Twin Atlantic is rated as an impressive live performer, with many notable strengths. Twin Atlantic concert reviews describe live shows and performances as upbeat, vibrant, innovative, poignant, and exciting.
Twin Atlantic are from Glasgow, Scotland and were formed in early 2007 by Sam McTrusty (Guitar/ Lead vocals), Barry McKenna (Guitar/ Keyboard/ Cello/ Backing vocals), Ross McNae (Bass/ Keyboard/ Backing vocals) and Craig Kneale (Drums). They are currently signed to Red Bull Records.
Twin Atlantic took to the iconic The Roundhouse in Camden to celebrate over a decade since breakout sophomore album Free was released back in 2011. Accompanied by a fully Scottish touring party, as well as a helping heap of tartan clad audience members.
This is where Sam starts to struggle and feel defeated – he let us know earlier in the show that he had to have a doctor out as he has a cold but it hasn’t shown until now. Regardless, this crowd are happy to fill in any gaps for him.
With this show originally scheduled for March 2020, fans had to wait a little bit longer than planned to see the power pairing of genre-blending BLOXX and Scottish power rock outfit Twin Atlantic at Bournemouth's Old Fire Station. But it's true, good things do come to those who wait.
