Echoing a strong predilection for 90s indie icons such as The Strokes the London-based quartet immersed the Lexington’s capacity audience in speaker-blowing and infectiously clamorous garage rock.
Opening the show with their hit single ‘Fly-by Alien’, the four-piece had everybody on the boat rocking out instantly, but nothing can prepare you for the intense energy of VANT.
Taking to the road after the release of their debut album ‘Dumb Blood’ in February (read our review here), VANT have taken to a mass of UK venues to get their message across, with Portsmouth’s Wedgewood Rooms playing host this time around.
The London based four piece played to a rowdy sold out crowd at Manchester's Gorilla last night, and it's no surprise it was a sell out; with the success of their debut album ‘DUMB BLOOD' released 2 weeks ago.
