Ags Connolly and Whitney Rose may hail from Oxford and Canada, respectively, but they both share a spiritual home in Austin. For Ags it's the place he relates most to musically, while for Whitney Rose it now represents home following her move from her native Prince Edward Island.

Whitney Rose Brightens Up A Dreary Monday

Rose, a native Canadian, grew up in Charlottetown, the capital of Prince Edward Island province, where she was raised by her mother and grandparents, who ran a bar called the Union Hall.

She greets the audience with an uplifting "Hello everybody" which has just a hint of "aw shucks" in it a shyness that conveys "country girl in the big city.

Well in the case of seeing Canadian cutie , Whitney Rose, what we witnessed was a charmingly good performance.
