Two of the strongest and most talented women in music got together to showcase their talents in Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall this past Wednesday (November 22nd) in front of an appreciative crowd.
When the star did appear, dressed simply, but elegantly, greeted by hoots and major applause, she stood silently for a moment, as if in awe of her surroundings.
Here’s what he encountered… I didn’t think I’d be seeing a 5-string bass solo last night, but that’s what happened, half-way through Hollie Smith’s super support set at the pretty much full Aotea Centre.
Admitting that Moyet was not only a huge influence but a childhood idol she launched into Falling Into A Lie and followed up with Sweet One, a tune co-written with the indefatigable Sia.
