She is a past and current member of the Levon Helm Band, the Dirt Farmer Band, the Midnight Ramble Band, Ollabelle, as well as her own touring band, Amy Helm & The Handsome Strangers.

Helm crossed the city line and brought the Woodstock sound with her. Backed by lead guitarist Adam Levy, acoustic guitarist Storey Littleton, bassist Zach Djanikian, and drummer Tony Mason, Helm performed many songs from her new project, along with a few songs from her previous albums.
On Friday, pandemic capacity restrictions were lifted in the District of Columbia. When Amy Helm performed at The Hamilton Live, it was the first time in 16 months that venue had been fully open to present live music to eager audiences.
When you see Amy Helm perform, you believe that she’s taller than she actually is. Amy performed with livewire energy, and she carried herself with the regal stature of trueborn rock royalty in her show at AMP by Srathmore recently.
