Arlo McKinley brings strong songwriting to Turf Club

Marking the end of the Artist in Residency 3-night run at Southgate House Revival in Newport, KY, Arlo McKinley and the Lonesome Sound brought along singer/songwriter John Clay for a night of nostalgia and noticeable anticipation for the band's future, Wednesday night.
Cincinnati’s Arlo McKinley may have been discovered by the late John Prine, who signed him to his Oh Boy record label, but he recently showed at the Pearl Street Warehouse that his musical range goes far beyond that familiar country-folk territory.
