Avi Buffalo was an alternative rock band from Long Beach, California, headed by songwriter/guitarist Avigdor Zahner-Isenberg. The band signed to Sub Pop Records in late 2009 and released their self-titled debut on April 27th, 2010.

Band and audience members alike all gathered together in the extra-room-turned-concert-space in the back of the East Beach Batting Cages, with no stage to separate the ten or so attendees from the performers.
Avi Zahner-Isenberg, the birth name of musician Avi Buffalo, has spent the last nine months composing and recording music in and around his hometown of Long Beach, California.
Three months on much has changed: they have shed a keyboard player they are already playing a batch of songs that didn't appear on their debut album and Zahner-Isenberg an extraordinary guitarist is scaling new heights.
