Wonderfully bands like Breton do not fall into the most category of this poll as their sound coupled with their euphonious fresh album War Room Stories (just hitting the market) is decidedly a stand-out act.
Originally a squat-dwelling south London movie-making collective they formed a musical offshoot as a consequence of finding it difficult to gain any significant exposure for the cinematic offerings they produced under the name BretonLABS.
Weather protection was not the name of the game of course – but what could have looked like a contrived statement was made to fit in perfectly with the band’s image and music.
Emerging in 2010 with the instantly captivating Counter Balance EP on Untold's Hemlock Recordings they have been nothing but consistent since delivering an excellent debut album Other People's Problems earlier this year.
