Realising at an early age that if you picked up a guitar you got attention, especially from her dad whose guitar it usually was, it was inevitable that she would get one of her own. So at the ripe old age of three, she got her first guitar, a half size acoustic.

The sell out audience at Milton Keynes Stables were treated to a pair of very different co-headliners on Sunday – Americana superstar Elles Bailey & psychedelic rocker Chantel McGregor.
Opening night of London Blues week and it kicked off with a real blast, a sellout of London’s famous 100 Club for Chantel McGregor and able support from Lisa Mills.
Tiny and dressed in black against her blonde hair shoeless but with a huge smile on her face she looked like a waif who had been thrust into the spotlight.
Now if Chantel McGregor had chosen to record her new live album in tonight’s venue – the ARC in Stockton, maybe the title wouldn’t have been as catchy as Bury’d Alive.
