It does not matter how much planning the organisers put into a Festival, if the Rain God's have decided to make an appearance, there is nothing that can be done about it except embrace the mud and ensure that you have a really good time.
In a setlist that didn’t draw too heavily on the newest material, the anthemic ambitions of one new one, The Way We Say Goodbye, showed they are undoubtedly hungry to be bigger, but Coldplay can rest easy. The night flew by on pace and melody in a fun but forgettable evening.
Two years on from their debut release ‘Young Chasers’, the Liverpudlians lads have returned with a darker, heavier style, mirrored in their fierce but effortless performance.
