Damien O'Kane (born in Coleraine on 1 September 1978) is an Irish musician He currently lives in Yorkshire and is married to English folk musician Kate Rusby. As well as his solo work, O'Kane is known for his work in the duo Shona Kipling & Damien O'Kane and with the band Flook.

Actually, as usual at Bury Met, it was all very civilised although the stars on stage in the Damien O’Kane Trio had a beano whipping up a bit of a banjo and guitar powered storm.
Commitments to the Kate Rusby cause (new album ‘Life In A Paper Boat’ imminent…) allow for few opportunities to get this band and the ‘Areas Of High Traffic’ music together and on the road.
