David Gahan (born May 9, 1962 in Epping, Essex, England) is the baritone lead singer for English electro stalwarts, Depeche Mode. Dave released his first solo album titled Paper Monsters in 2003 to critical acclaim.

After two successful collaborations, Rich Machin's Soulsavers and Dave Gahan of Depeche Mode produced their third album,
Expanded to a nine-piece for this one-off UK show Soulsavers are the spaghetti western version of Gahan’s day-band exuding the same soul-flagellating perversely-catchy foreboding.
It cannot be easy to launch a songwriting career after spending almost a quarter-century singing someone else's material particularly when that someone else is Depeche Mode's Martin Gore.
In a departure far from the strobes, stadiums and synths of Depeche Mode, Dave Gahan & Soulsavers brought their new album Imposter to Shepherd's Bush Empire as part of a run of intimate shows. Naomi Dryden-Smith went along to check out and photograph Gahan's alter ego.
