Bio
Before 2012 Duke Dumont was known as a 'producer's producer'. He was the name on a 12" record the DJ knew to reach for when he wanted to please the crowd, without them knowing who had constructed the mesmerising sonic confection they were dancing to.

First things first, the best way to get a great workout is to see Duke Dumont Live, it was an hour and a half of non-stop dancing and boy am I feeling it today! So, thank you Duke for not only pumping out some great tunes but also giving me the workout of a lifetime.
The sold-out event attracted a very young, frustratingly careless crowd, half of whom ecstatically chanted "SHIBA SAN" after the initial build up and drop in each and every one of his tracks.
House lovers either hail him for putting dance at the top of the UK charts and signalling the British house invasion – or huff that he has boiled dance down to low-com-denom beats for fans with enough fake tan to last the zombie apocalypse.
Duke Dumont has been involved in the EDM scene since 2007 but began to grab people’s attention in 2013 with the release of his single Need U featuring A*M*E.
With that name one would expect something regal from the guy some fanfare some pomp and circumstance but he was just a regular dude in a white tee with a moustache and lone earring.
As twentysomethings we feel sufficiently uncomfortable but were at least expecting a warm, accepting wall of commercial bangers from the man behind a handful of the biggest songs to leave the UK in the last couple of years.
