Ethel Cain converts EP Electric Arena into plainchant perfection
Watching the rapid, almost violent ascent of a talented performer happening in real time can be a sight to behold. The rarest of highs within that world is watching them gain popularity and talent after being in the same small room with them before they outgrow those spaces.
The rustic venue of The Basilica in Hudson, NY served as the perfect atmosphere for an Ethel Cain performance on October 5th. Helen Ballentine, better known by her stage name of Skullcrusher, set the stage perfectly with her folkly melancholic based tunes.
