Paul Weller delights with hits old and new during Trinity Summer Series gig
Born in Woking, Surrey, in 1958, Paul Weller had released his first album, 'In The City', as lead singer, guitarist and songwriter with The Jam just five days before his 20th birthday on 20 May, 1977.
Paul Weller has had a pretty much constant presence in my life. My first ever gig was The Jam. I luckily managed to catch them on their last Beat Surrender tour in 1982. I remember making the pivotal decision to buy three tickets before asking my parents if I could go.
