Fetty Wap

Admittedly, I'm not in Fetty Wap's general demographic. This became evident when I reached the show and was surrounded by a sea of high school aged or younger kids. That being said, it was a fun show. I went in without having an expectation for the performance and was pleasantly surprised by a few things.

The New Jersey rapper appears to be winging it in a badly thought-out show full of identikit trap and overpowering bass

Both singer-rappers had breakout years in 2015, both rising up the Billboard Hot 100 and both doing so on the strength of viral hits.

Credit that, in large part, to the omnipresent hit “Trap Queen,” which was one of the top songs of last year.
