They were on the fringes of making it big in the ’60s and ’70s but it never quite happened probably because their music didn’t chime with the times.
During the set the singer-guitarist complained to his soundman about his amp and then left the stage cursing (he walked right by me so I heard him) when the show was cut short before the encore.
Excitingly, three of the best tracks aired – Let Me Rock, I Want You Bad and, especially, What The Hell Is Goin’ On? – came from the new Fantastic Plastic.
