Grimes review – a suitably surreal invasion of the Miami Art Basel 4 / 5 stars 4 out of 5 stars.
Over the last couple of years Grimes' sets have been defined as being both wildly impressive and erratic in equal measure — her shows have for some redefinied how pop music could and should be performed.
Instead she hardcore screams and high-kicks her way through closer Kill v Maim – a track from last year’s album Art Angels that sounds like demonic cheerleaders chanting over the tinny electronica of a trashy continental car advert.
