Grimes review – a suitably surreal invasion of the Miami Art Basel 4 / 5 stars 4 out of 5 stars.
Over the last couple of years Grimes' sets have been defined as being both wildly impressive and erratic in equal measure — her shows have for some redefinied how pop music could and should be performed.
But last night when she wasn’t growling like Linda Blair in The Exorcist between songs she was a friendly if breathless figure who came dressed as the unlikely lovechild of Olivia Newton-John circa 1975 and Cyndi Lauper circa 1985.
