Reunions are a risky game. Sometimes bands amass a much larger body of work in their post-classic lineup, yet the legacy of years gone by looms large.

On entering the Academy I was hit with a wall of bodies, it was well and truly packed but I really didn’t expect anything less with there being just two dates on this epic power metal tour with two of the heavyweights of the genre in attendance.

Attracting a respectable crowd at an early hour the quartet charged through a powerful set that even had heads banging at the back bar.
