Jack White (born John Anthony Gillis on July 9, 1975 in Detroit), American rock musician, producer, and actor. He is best known as the guitarist and lead vocalist of the rock duo The White Stripes (1997-2011) and more recently guitarist and vocalist of The Raconteurs, and drummer and vocalist for the band The Dead Weather.

Jack and his band took the stage and the obviously sold out Brooklyn crowd welcome him with as raucous of reception as one would expect. This was my first time seeing Jack since his 2018 run at Kings Theatre and one of the best solo performances that I have seen from him to date.
While Jack White largely wrapped up his extensive Supply Chain Issues Tour last year, he’s kept the ball rolling with a smattering of smaller gigs over the last couple of months, and this week he brought the party to New York City.
For the past three decades now, a beloved 400-person capacity dive bar in Chicago by the name of The Empty Bottle has played host to countless up-and-coming bands, many of which went on to become the next big thing shortly after passing through the storied venue’s hallowed divey doors.
With cellphones banned, the rock star held the attention of the audience through a continuous string of songs from his recent albums and crowd-pleasers from his past.
