Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard, known professionally as The Kid Laroi (stylized as The Kid LAROI), is an Australian recording artist. Born in Sydney, but raised in rural Australia, he originally amassed a small following from his associations with rapper Juice WRLD, who mentored him while he was on tour in Australia.

As a fan/ follower of The Kid LAROI since the release of his 2018 breakthrough track 'Blessings' and subsequent rise to fame, this occasion – at Brisbane Entertainment Centre (14 November) – to see LAROI perform his refined and near-perfected craft was a blessing.
