Iron & Wine made us feel good about life on Saturday, all for the small price of a concert ticket.
Along with opener Meshell Ndegeocello, the virtuosos sharing the bill on the delayed ‘Outside Problems’ tour enchanted a sold-out Meijer Gardens crowd on Friday.
Its a cold November night as I take the trip over to Manchester to catch Calexico and Iron & Wine on their Years To Burn tour, a tour which has taken them across Europe and North America stretching 48 shows since June this year.
Despite a few imperfect moments and an early departure by some attendees, Wednesday’s collaborative performance served up fresh and captivating songs. Review, photos.
