Jerry Harrison (born Jeremiah Griffin Harrison, 21 February 1949, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) is an American songwriter, musician and producer. He was the keyboardist and guitarist for the influential New Wave group Talking Heads and an original member of The Modern Lovers.

Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew close out the year in the Bay Area
Although they didn't play that particular song, Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew were certainly “Burning down the House” this Wednesday night at Empire Live.
Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew famously toured together with Jerry’s band the Talking Heads in 1980-1981 when the band expanded past its four core members for an ambitious album, Remain in Light.
Talking Heads’ 1980 tour promoting its then-new album “Remain in Light” enjoys a kind of legendary status in music annals. The band’s Jerry Harrison and widely credentialed guitarist Adrian Belew, who was an adjunct member during the trek, showed why that is on Sunday night, JUne 4, at Detroit’s Majestic Theatre.
