Bio
King Dude is a side project of American musician TJ Cowgill (Teen Cthulhu and Book of Black Earth) of Seattle, WA that explores a darkly spiritual acoustic-folk sound. Pulling together the biblical sound and isolation of the bygone days of revelation with an atmosphere filled with hope and salvation, King Dude has woven his own brand of American music.

Linnea Olsson previously played with Beastmilk and Grave Pleasures, bands that excelled at Goth rock played by and for metalheads. Maggot Heart, a solo project by her own estimation, is more like old school punk-infused high octane rock and roll that’s for everyone.

After long working day a good portion of dark folk/blues about Satan is exactly what is needed. On Monday evening TJ Cowgill aka King Dude played a set of dark songs in possible the most fitting venue for his style.

With a strong background in metal bands and a duet with the wonderfully dark Chelsea Wolfe to his credit, Cowgill brought the morbidity and intensity.
