Local songstress Ruby Boots did an amazing job of getting things started, though some vocal gymnastics in the last few songs spoilt an otherwise fabulous show.

Jerron Blind Boy Paxton, is himself, a frequent visitor to these shores, and his opening slot at The Powerstation was his first show of his latest NZ tour which finds him playing five additional solo dates in the coming days.

Fronted by the North London siblings, Kitty, Daisy and Lewis Durham, the five-piece band are touring Europe prior to the release of their forthcoming album, Superscope, in September, which includes their new single Down on My Knees.

Leaf was witness to a faultless and flawless spectacle as Kitty, Daisy and Lewis rock ‘n’ rolled their way down to Liverpool for a night of sheer excellence and good, good times.
