You would to be hard-pushed to find anyone that would argue against the fact that ska music is perfect for the summer months and sunny weather. With the UV rays pounding and that trumpet sound blaring there’s nothing better. Well, unless the beers flowing.
And with that in mind it was to the O2 Institute in
Frontman Jamie Batten led the grunge-shoegaze four-piece out on stage and it was clear the band was inexperienced, yet they just had the star quality that’ll get them a long way in time to come.
Why do you ask? Well, weeks of anticipation since the announcement of Mad Caddies’ Toronto tour date brought me so much excitement that when the day finally arrived, I was beside myself.
