Max Weinberg, (born Newark, NJ, April 1951) joined Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band in August 1974. When the band temporarily broke up during the nineties, he became bandleader for Late Night With Conan O'Brien, serving throughout the show's tenure alongside The Max Weinberg 7.
