Following an almost ten year hiatus, Milburn are truly back up and running.
Having sold out 4 consecutive nights at the Sheffield O2 on announcing their comeback and then selling out a UK tour I should have expected nothing less.
While the delights of The Smiths Pulp and Kaisers take over the decks of its three rooms three of the best young bands add a dash of to the indie knees-up including Milburn.
They understand what their audience want, most of whom have been loyal since their 2006 debut album Well Well Well, and provide it with warmth, witty one-liners and a fair bit of swagger: the passion is contagious.
