Milow is the stage name of Belgian singer-songwriter Jonathan Vandenbroeck (born 14 July 1981 in Borgerhout). He is one of the most successful DIY musicians in Europe Combining folk with acoustic pop elements and beginning in 2003, Milow released his debut album, The Bigger Picture, in 2006 on his own label Homerun Records.

While I disapprove of his music generally, the songsmith has an undeniable charisma, and set against the smoky, softly lit backdrop of the National’s stage his 6’5” frame is impossible to ignore.
