To be completely honest, I'm a Montaigne fan girl.

The truth is, Australia has some incredible homegrown female talent. Like I mean, absolutely INCREDIBLE female acts.

We got the feeling we’d witnessed something historic.

The band plays their well-known tunes like Let Go and Rather Be Lonely and everyone is happy.

Although the moment you bounded on stage at The Triffid in Brisbane (5 August), band members seated neatly in tow, I instantly decided I liked you.

She ended her set with her debut single Daggers & Knives and her latest track The Thaw.

Montaigne has been one of those artists who, in the past, I’ve approached hesitantly. I could never properly believe that this girl was as big as the hype that followed her. I mean, how could she be?
